Turning a plain catalog into the reason overseas buyers replied

A maker of precision parts was losing overseas enquiries to suppliers who simply looked more sure of themselves.

A precision-parts maker · Catalog and company profile

( The situation )

The parts were excellent, but the catalog looked like a price list: mismatched photos, tiny text and no clear order. Buyers abroad judge a supplier by how it presents itself long before they judge the parts.

( What we did )

We started with one line on what makes the company different, then rebuilt the catalog around it. Each product got the same photo style, the same layout and the same few facts, in the order a buyer checks them. The company profile and website followed the same look.

( What changed )

The catalog now works as a quiet salesperson. Buyers can compare parts in minutes, and the first conversation starts about orders, not about whether the company is serious.
